DLTK-Kids

www.coloring.ws
This site has a wealth of free printable activities, colouring pages, easy recipes, crafts and great ideas for such occasions as holidays, rainy days, school projects (particularly animals and other countries) and of course, Bible classes. What I like about this website is that if a printable template is not provided for the craft or idea, then the materials are ones readily available at home (the site began with TP roll crafts!). The Bible section (www.dltk-bible.com) is quite large and provides crafts, colouring pages, lesson guides, songs, poems and even recipes for many of the well-known Bible stories. When looking for quick and easy ideas this is my favourite site.
Danielle’s Place
One might be put off by the US$24.95 per year (individual subscription) to access the many of the resources on this site but if you are running a long term program such as Kids’ Club you may find it worth your while. There are well over 100 Bible lessons in the Resource Room (the subscribers’ only section) for preschoolers and early primary. Each lesson has a pre-activity (usually a printable colouring pages), written lesson, memory verse (with card), and one or more craft ideas. There are also Bulletin Board ideas (with printable resources). I found many of the lessons crafts and ideas went really well with the Kindergarten lessons. Even if you are not prepared to subscribe you will still find lots of great crafts ideas in the free section of the website.
Bible Kids Fun Zone
If you like the style of artwork at Danielle’s Place then you may like this site too. The creators of both these sites are sisters! A very new site, it is aiming to provide a variety of colouring pages, craft ideas, devotions and games. The resources here are suitable for Beginner/Kindergarten.
Making Friends
The range of craft ideas provided by this site is huge. Includes bead crafts, foam crafts, recyclable crafts – the list is endless. The site’s ideas also appeal to a wide age group, catering for preschoolers right through to children in mid to late primary. Amongst the most interesting (and my favourite!) of the printable crafts is a wide range of printable paper dolls. They are multicultural, spiritual (to create Bible characters) or thematic and could be used to tell stories, create bulletin boards or as a fun craft. This site is a great source for VBS craft ideas too.
Childfun
This site provides a thematic list of crafts, finger plays, games and activities for a variety of occasions and subjects ranging from holidays to nature. There are also a few ideas related to Bible stories (listed as Christian Activities). Other than a colouring section (www.coloringbookfun.com), which has a few Bible colouring pages, there are no printable activity pages. However, there is still a wealth of ideas if you have the time to look carefully. Great for Kids Club or Playgroup.
